What You’ll Be Doing

As a valued member of our Sydney team, you’ll provide one-on-one support to NDIS participants, helping them live more independently and pursue the goals in their NDIS plans. Every shift is different — you’ll empower people in their homes, out in the community, and in everyday moments that matter.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Living & Personal Care

Assist with personal hygiene, showering, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation so participants feel confident and comfortable at home.

Household Support

Help with light domestic tasks like cleaning, laundry, shopping, and organising the home to create a safe, organised space.

Community & Social Connection

Support outings to cafés, parks, events, appointments, or hobbies — helping participants build friendships, try new things, and stay active in Sydney’s community.

Skill Building & Independence

Encourage and guide participants to develop life skills, follow routines, manage their day, and work towards their personal NDIS goals.

Medication Prompts & Emotional Support

Provide gentle reminders for medication (as per their plan) and offer friendly companionship, listening, and encouragement when needed.

Documentation & Team Communication

Keep clear, respectful notes on each shift and work closely with our small team and participants’ support networks.

You won’t just be “doing tasks” — you’ll be building trust, celebrating small wins, and making a genuine difference in someone’s life every single shift.
